The focus of Pfancy Finish is to build relationships and bring homeowners the quality work we all hope for. Do it right the first time so it doesn't need to be done again. Stand behind the work of your hands. It's been said if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. I take pride in what we do, we also enjoy all the jobs and people we meet along the way. At the end of the day, we want our customers to be happy with what they get from allowing us to be a part of their project.
Our Story
Hello, my name is Matthew Pfannenschmidt. I am the proud owner and operator of Pfancy Finish, LLC. I started this company in February of 2017. I have been dedicated to construction since 2006 and have always admired all aspects of the building process.
As a child, I experienced a unique side of real estate. My parents began their Real Estate careers in the 70's. I had the opportunity to see everything from amazing old, worn-down homes to brand new custom-built and Homeorama homes. Witnessing the fancy upgrades, finishes, and designs, as well as the restoration of dilapidated properties, always intrigued me.
In the mid-2000s, I was fortunate to secure my first construction labor job with HIS Construction in Cincinnati. The owner, Jimmy, was and still is a very knowledgeable and brilliant contractor. He had a passion for hard work and treating customers with respect and integrity. Over the next couple of years, I learned a great deal from him that guided me on this journey. In particular, he emphasized doing things right the first time. If you have to return to fix something, then it wasn't done correctly. Doing things wrong never benefits anyone and only causes inconveniences. We are here to solve problems with effective solutions.
Now, I get to work on the coolest projects, participate in the design and brainstorming phases, and deliver finishes that exceed expectations. Along the way, we meet wonderful individuals who make my job even more enjoyable.
We look forward to meeting you and addressing your renovation or repair needs.
